School's back in session

Well I had my first week of school this week. It went very well for the most part. This semester, I will be doing a lot more "hands on" work, specifically counseling and working with clients. I am nervous about this, as I usually am when I start something new. It was comforting to see that my peers and classmates were feeling the same and that we will be doing this together. My professors have been very encouraging and supportive too. My practicum professor said that if all of our counseling sessions were perfect, then the highest grade we would get is a C. Basically she does not expect greatest, but for us to do well as we gain experience and understanding. Then for my medical aspect class, I was worry about the class being canceled because the professor, Dr. Kennedy, that was suppose to teach it has been diagnosed with cancer. This week, I found out that they have found a teacher for our class and Dr Kennedy is resting at his home while he goes through treatment. I also got group counseling, which looks like a lot of fun and then a research class that looks incredibly boring. I also get to start taking comps (that's short for comprehensive exam) this semester. So another busy semester is set before me. WooHoo!
